About Dan Filmer
Dan Filmer is a commercial and portrait photographer based in Queensland. He is dedicated to finding the story in whatever he shoots, whether capturing the quiet dedication and skill of a worker who has spent years honing their craft, documenting the atmosphere and authentic moments on a film or production set, or creating a natural portrait that reveals a person’s true character and presence.
Working across commercial, corporate, and creative projects throughout Australia, Dan blends photojournalistic techniques with artistic flair. His documentary-style approach prioritises genuine moments over staged imagery, resulting in photographs that feel both real and elevated.
Whether photographing teams, workspaces, productions, or individuals, Dan’s focus remains consistent: telling authentic visual stories that reflect the true spirit of people and organisations.
